The Blind Side, the movie that won Sandra Bullock an Academy Award as best actress,  is now out on DVD.

Author Michael Lewis covers the last thirty or forty years of football history and explains the value of the left tackle, who guards the quarterback on his “blind side.”

In addition to his explanation of this aspect of football strategy, he interlaces the touching story of Michael Oher. Michael is a disadvantaged teenager who attends the same school as the daughter of Leigh Ann and Sean Tuohy.
